Thanksgiving Table:

I'm so excited to host Thanksgiving tomorrow
for the first time....especially because
it is my favorite holiday!

I went ahead and got out all the
Christmas decorations so my table
looks much more winter wonderland
than Thanksgivingish but now I am
ready for Christmas!

1. Christmas glittery trees on table
Pottery Barn
2. Glittery reindeer on table Uppitys
in Marietta, GA
3. Napkin rings Pier One
4. Silver candlestick holders Target
(filled with epson salt)

Raider Red End of
Season Football Party:
The Gifts

The players received a trophy
but I also filled a bag
with different kinds of candy
and wrote a brief letter
explaining what the candy meant.

I made Coach Randy a special
framed picture with all the
player's names inside the
football.  The coaches also
got a gift card to Sports
Authority.  The packaging was
super simple.  I used a brown
bag and cut strips of white
paper to make it look like a
football.

Raider Red End of Season
Football Party: The Table

Sadly, the Fourth Grade Walton Red
season came to an end one week shy
of the Superbowl.  The boys had a
great undefeated regular season and
were Division Winners!

For the table, I bought fake grass
at Home Depot for $15.00.  It
required a little too much math at
8:00 in the morning but my measurements
worked out great.  I used white duct tape
to mark the lines, unfortunately it
wouldn't stick to the underside of
the table.

I bought mason jar mugs and the dollar
store and cut vinyl (found at
Hobby Lobby) to make them look like a
football.  We made root beer floats in
the football mugs (note to self, pour the
root beer first THEN add ice cream)!

Turkey Toes

Joelle and I made Turkey Toes
(candy corn) bags for her class.
Apparently they aren't "cool enough"
for fourth graders and Drew said no...

Thanksgiving Feast
With 4 Year Olds:

Today was Joelle's Thanksgiving
Feast at her school.  I jazzed up
the silverware presentation and it is
a lot easier than you might think.

Step 1: Find a clip art picture on your
computer or internet search
Step 2:  Size it to match a circle punch
width and print
Step 3: Punch a piece of construction
paper with a scalloped punch
Step 4: Glue them together then onto
a bag (I found these at Michael's)
Step 5: Place a napkin and silverware inside

Picture Frames:

It's so easy to turn a simple picture frame
into a memo board.
1. Choose a picture frame you like
2. Place fabric or paper behind the glass
3. Write on it with a dry erase marker
and erase when done

Drew's Homework Assignments:
I printed lines and check boxes on a
5x7 paper and added a clip art pencil

 Our Weekly Calender:
I found this picture frame at Hobby Lobby

and added piece of fabric behind the glass.
I used vinyl letters for the days of the week.

Princess Party: Cupcakes

Joelle's 4th Birthday
 A Princess Party

We had cupcakes fit for a princess from Gigi's for Joelle's birthday.  I found small, plastic, art pallets at Hobby Lobby and filled each section with a different type of sprinkle.  We put a sparkly wand through the center (also found at Hobby Lobby).  The girls had a great time decorating their individual cupakes...
and the clean up was a piece of cake!

Princess Party: Decorations

Joelle's 4th Birthday: Princess Party
Decorations:

It was a very cloudy day and it drizzled on and off.  Luckily, by the time the party started, it cleared up and was nice and warm so we could have it outside.
